Apple Music authorization
Ripple needs access to your Apple Music library to show your playlists and tracks. If you declined, tap Open Settings on the sign-in screen and allow access to Apple Music.
Do I need an Apple Music subscription?
An active Apple Music subscription is required to use Ripple.

Follows dark mode, larger text sizes and Reduce Motion, from iOS 15 on.
MODES
Favorites mode

Change mode
Tap the hand icon at the top, then choose the mode and target playlist. Switching modes erases nothing: each playlist keeps its progress in the mode you sorted it in. Starting a playlist in the other mode resets that playlist only.

Your whole library
Swipe your entire library, not just your playlists. Sort it by date added, title or artist, or shuffle it.
My track didn't land where I swiped it
Two cases. Offline, a swipe in Favorites mode is saved and sent the next time you open a playlist, a mix or your library. In Playlist mode, Ripple tries again when you reopen that playlist online, with the same target. In Favorites mode, a track that isn't in the Apple Music catalog (a file you imported, for instance) can't join your Apple Music favorites: its star stays in Ripple only.
How do I pick up where I left off?
Ripple remembers your position in every playlist. Reopen it and Resume starts again at the exact track where you stopped. Restart goes back to the beginning and puts every track back in play.
How do I start at a specific track?
In the track list, tap the play button to the right of the track you want. The session starts there instead of at the first track. A long press on the row does the same.
How do I shuffle a playlist?
Tap the shuffle button next to Start or Resume, on a playlist, a mix or your whole library. Your progress is kept: only the tracks you haven't sorted yet are shuffled.
I skipped a track by mistake
Tap the Previous button under the artwork, then swipe the right way. The new swipe replaces the old one, including a favorite removed by mistake in Favorites mode. Going back doesn't count toward the daily 50, but the new swipe does. Once the session is over, use Restart instead.
Grayed tracks
These are tracks you have already sorted, marked with a check. Tap the artwork to hear the preview again. The play button does not appear on a grayed track, so use Restart to bring them all back into play.
Why is my playlist not showing?
New playlists may take a few minutes to appear. Pull to refresh.
How do I add a track to a playlist?
From the list, tap + next to the star to choose a playlist.

How does the daily limit work?
The free version lets you sort 50 tracks a day. Every decision counts, right or left, by swipe or with the buttons. Going back, jumping ahead with the next-track button, the star on the card, and the star or + in the track list don't count. After the 50th, sorting and previews stop until midnight, your device's time: tap Resume tomorrow and your place is kept. You can still browse your lists, change their order and open the settings.
What is Ripple Pro?
Ripple Pro removes the daily limit. It's a one-time purchase on the App Store, valid for life, with no subscription. The App Store shows the price for your country before you pay. The offer appears once you've sorted your 50 tracks for the day: tap Go unlimited. Ripple Pro doesn't include Apple Music, which is still required.
How do I get Ripple Pro back?
Ripple Pro is tied to your Apple Account, not to your iPhone. Ripple checks it with the App Store at launch, so on a new device it usually comes back on its own. If not, open the settings with the gear on the home screen and tap Restore purchases, under Ripple Pro. The same link is on the Ripple Pro screen.
Refund or payment problem
The purchase goes through the App Store: Apple handles the payment, the receipt and refunds, and Ripple never sees your payment details. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded purchase turns Ripple Pro off. If Ripple shows “Purchase awaiting approval”, the purchase must be approved first, for example by the family organizer if Ask to Buy is on for your account. Ripple Pro turns on once it goes through.

Does Ripple delete my tracks?
Ripple never deletes a track from your library or your playlists. One thing to know: in Favorites mode, swiping left on a track that's already in your favorites removes it from your Apple Music favorites.
Your data stays yours
Your music stays between your phone and Apple Music. See the privacy policy for everything about your data.
How do I delete my data?
Your data is local. Deleting the app erases your progress and settings. To erase your Apple Music sign-in too, tap Log out in the settings first: only the day's counter may then stay in the iOS Keychain. Usage analytics are tied to a technical device identifier, never to your name.
Is Ripple free?
Ripple is free to download, with no ads and nothing to sign up for. You can sort 50 tracks a day for free. Ripple Pro makes sorting unlimited with a one-time purchase, valid for life. An Apple Music subscription is required separately.
