Apple Music authorization

Ripple requires access to your Apple Music library to display your playlists and tracks.

Do I need an Apple Music subscription?

An active Apple Music subscription is required to use Ripple.

My track did not reach the playlist

Two cases. Offline, the swipe is kept on your device and leaves on its own the next time you open the playlist with a connection, nothing is lost. If the track exists only in your library and not in the Apple Music catalog, a file you imported yourself for instance, Apple Music refuses it and it will never sync.

How do I pick up where I left off?

Ripple remembers your position in every playlist. Reopen it and Resume starts again at the exact track where you stopped. Restart goes back to the beginning and puts every track back in play.

How do I start at a specific track?

In the track list, tap the play button to the right of the track you want. The session starts there instead of at the first track. A long press on the row does the same.

I skipped a track by mistake

Use the back arrow under the artwork to return to the previous track, then swipe the right way. The new swipe replaces the old one, including a Love removed by mistake in Favorites mode. Once the session is over, use Restart instead.

Grayed tracks

Tracks you have already handled, marked with a check. Tap one to play its preview as usual. The play button does not appear on a grayed track, so use Restart to bring them all back into play.

Why is my playlist not showing?

New playlists may take a few minutes to appear. Pull to refresh.

How do I add a track to a playlist?

From the list, tap + next to the star to choose a playlist.

Does Ripple delete my tracks?

Ripple never deletes a track from your library or your playlists. One thing to know: in Favorites mode, swiping left removes the Love from Apple Music.

How do I delete my data?

Your data is local. Deleting the app erases the data stored on your device. Usage analytics are tied to a technical device identifier, never to your name.
